Sr. Group Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

The Role

Lead operational supply chain execution from supplier to manufacturing site while building the nextgeneration capabilities required for a more resilient datadriven and agile supply chain. This role ensures uninterrupted material flow vehicle and service parts availability and disciplined response to daily disruptionswhile simultaneously elevating team capability through innovation digital adoption and continuous upskilling.

You will manage and develop a highperforming team responsible for translating demand into executable supply plans stabilizing operations and modernizing supply chain execution across suppliers plants logistics partners and internal stakeholders. There will be strong emphasis on Change Management transforming supply planning to synchronize planning systems where suppliers align demand production and capacity.

Role may include:

Operational Leadership & Execution

• Own daytoday operational supply chain execution to ensure material availability for automotive manufacturing and service parts fulfillment

• Lead rapid issue identification containment and resolution for supply capacity logistics and supplier disruptions

• Lead Engineering change management; future material availability related to launch excellence

• Partner crossfunctionally with Manufacturing Purchasing Logistics Engineering Quality and Finance to drive timely decisions and tradeoffs

• Manage and escalate operational risks with clear visibility to impact recovery plans and customer exposure

• Monitor and improve core operational KPIs (material availability supplier performance inventory health premium freight schedule adherence)

• Assess supplier ship plans capacity constraints and recovery actions to protect production and customer commitments

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

• Lead the reimagination of operational supply chain processes leveraging data automation and digital tools to improve speed visibility and execution discipline

• Within Global Supply Chains Demand and Supply Planning team you will help drive innovation in the space between supply planning and supply operations to help GSC become more predictive and less reactive

• Identify and deploy innovative solutions that reduce manual work improve decision quality and strengthen operational resilience

• Translate emerging technologies and analytics into practical scalable operational use cases

• Drive standardization and simplification through improved tools workflows and operational playbooks

• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and problemsolving rigor grounded in realworld execution

Talent Development & Upskilling:

• Build a futureready supply chain organization by actively developing team capability in analytics digital tools systems thinking and operational decisionmaking

• Establish clear expectations for skill progression learning and capability building across the team

• Coach leaders and individual contributors to operate effectively in highambiguity fastpaced environments

• Foster a learning culture that encourages curiosity experimentation and adoption of new ways of working

• Lead performance management succession planning and talent development to ensure bench strength and longterm organizational health

Leadership & Communication:

• Provide clear concise communication to leadership during both crisis situations and routine operating reviews

• Influence without authority across global crossfunctional stakeholders

• Operate with urgency accountability and decisiveness while balancing shortterm execution with longterm capability building

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• Bachelors degree

• 10 years of experience across automotive supply chain manufacturing operations launch excellence or service parts

• Proven experience leading teams (minimum 45 direct reports) in complex highpressure operational environments

• Deep understanding of material flow production scheduling supplier management and logistics operations

• Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and capability transformation within an operational organization

• Strong operational judgment with the ability to make timely decisions with incomplete information

• Advanced proficiency in Excel Power BI and PowerPoint; experience translating data into action

• Executivelevel communicator able to summarize issues actions and risks succinctly

• Must be willing to travel 10- 40% domestic international

• Masters degree

• Experience supporting automotive plants service parts operations or global supply networks

• Experience in Google suite

• Demonstrated results delivering operational stability cost reduction and capability transformation

• Proven track record of connecting business needs with innovative executionfocused solutions
