What are we looking for

The Sr. Field Technician is responsible for performing a variety of testing project-specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and in accordance with established procedures.

What youll do

• Operate testing equipment and perform field testing of soils concrete and other construction materials providing assessments through detailed reporting
• Utilize project drawings specifications and diagrams to perform testing and inspections
• Follow established methods and procedures to make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of test results
• Communicate effectively with clients contractors and project team members

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Two or more years of construction materials testing experience required
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record required
• REAL ID-compliant drivers license or state-issued identification required
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I certification required
• Ability to lift move push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds with assistance
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and distinguish sounds accurately
• Ability to kneel and squat occasionally and stand or walk for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
• Ability to climb occasionally and work at varying heights
• Ability to work overnight and non-traditional shifts
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Additional ACI certifications and other industry-related certifications preferred
