Interventional The Interventional business unit at Teleflex develops innovative medical devices used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We focus strategically on coronary and peripheral interventions vascular and bone access and large-bore closure solutions.
Our portfolio includes a broad range of clinically relevant products such as the GuideLiner and Turnpike Catheters; the Orsiro Mission Drug-Eluting Stent; the PK Papyrus Covered Coronary Stent; the Ringer Perfusion Balloon Catheter; the Pulsar -18 T3 Self-Expanding Stent; Passeo Balloon Catheters; and the OnControl Powered Bone Access System.

The Sr. Facility Manager provides leadership and oversight for facility operations infrastructure reliability operating capital budgets project execution contractor management and continuous improvement initiatives. As a strategic partner to site leadership this role ensures facility capabilities and infrastructure support safe compliant reliable and efficient operations while enabling future organizational growth.
Manage and maintain R&D laboratory and office facilities to ensure clean safe operational and compliant work environments.
Ensure reliable operation and maintenance of facility infrastructure including HVAC systems cleanrooms utilities electrical distribution access control systems fire/life safety systems and environmental controls.
Plan schedule and manage operational service providers including monitoring contractor performance service quality and compliance with site requirements.
Utilize CMMS software to manage work orders preventive maintenance schedules asset records and maintenance history.
Lead facility space planning renovations and capital projects including scope development budgeting bid solicitation contractor selection design coordination execution and project closeout. Manage architects engineers consultants and contractors to ensure projects meet safety quality compliance schedule and budget requirements.
Partner with Environmental Health & Safety to implement facility safety programs and employee training initiatives while ensuring compliance with OSHA EPA FDA ISO and applicable state and local regulations.
Provide after-hours and weekend support for facility emergencies.
Participate in insurance safety and facility inspections.
Support internal and external audits by ensuring facility records maintenance documentation and infrastructure controls remain inspection ready.
Lead and develop facility personnel through staffing workload management goal setting coaching performance management training and professional development.
Monitor industry trends regulatory changes and emerging technologies to identify and recommend improvements that enhance facility performance efficiency and compliance.
Develop long-range utility energy and infrastructure plans to improve system performance reliability and environmental sustainability.
Provide strategic recommendations to site leadership regarding capital investments facility risks resource requirements and infrastructure priorities.
Maintain and update facility-related quality system documentation procedures and records as required.
Develop and manage departmental operating and capital budgets including forecasting expenditure tracking and financial performance monitoring.
Establish department goals priorities and performance expectations that align with site and business objectives.
Bachelors degree in Facilities Management Engineering Architecture Business or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
Minimum eight years of progressive facilities management experience including building operations infrastructure maintenance or construction project management required.
Experience in regulated manufacturing medical device life sciences pharmaceutical or laboratory environments preferred.
Working knowledge of GMP environments and quality system requirements within medical device industry.
Working knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing mechanical infrastructure and life safety systems
Experience managing capital projects renovations and contractor services.
Strong project management organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a regulated environment.
Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Familiarity with AutoCAD and facility layout software preferred.
Proficiency with CMMS applications and Microsoft 365 software
Ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization including senior leadership.
Strong employee coaching conflict resolution and performance management skills.
Professional certification such as CFM FMP PMP or LEED accreditation preferred.
Ability to read and interpret facility drawings construction documents and technical specifications.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $132900 - $199400 however base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical prescription drug dental and vision insurance flexible spending accounts participation in 401(k) savings plan and various paid time off benefits such as PTO short- and long-term disability and parental leave dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
