As a senior member of Corporate Development you will help identify evaluate and execute strategic transactions that advance Thermo Fishers long-term growth agenda. You will work on complex high-impact opportunities with significant visibility across the organization and direct exposure to senior leadership.
You will be involved from the earliest stages of strategy and opportunity identification through valuation diligence negotiation executive decision-making and transaction execution.

- Shape M&A strategy and develop decision-support analyses for Thermo Fishers senior leadership team.
- Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities including acquisitions investments joint ventures and divestitures.
- Lead transactions from strategy through execution including valuation diligence negotiation and closing.
- Influence critical investment decisions by developing and presenting compelling strategic and financial business cases to senior executives.
- Develop market perspectives by evaluating industry dynamics competitive landscapes and emerging opportunities.
- Partner across the enterprise with business leaders and functional experts to advance strategic priorities.
- Lead and develop talent mentoring Analyst Associate and Manager-level Corporate Development professionals.
- Undergraduate degree preferably in Finance Economics Business Administration Accounting Science or a technical discipline; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of meaningful M&A experience across acquisitions divestitures joint ventures investment banking corporate development or related transaction environments.
- Significant experience evaluating and executing complex transactions including valuation financial modeling analysis and negotiation.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business priorities into actionable inorganic growth opportunities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and a track record of developing high-performing professionals.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills with the confidence to engage influence and present to senior leaders.
- Outstanding financial and analytical capabilities with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions and priorities in a fast-paced global matrixed organization.
- Intellectual curiosity sound judgment learning agility and exceptional attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to seeking and supporting diverse perspectives.
- Willingness to travel periodically domestically and internationally.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $212000.00$282600.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
