Position Purpose:This role contains elements of Product and ProgramManagement. The individualownsthe strategic execution and financial leadership of a defined product with atechnical lead theroledrives the full product lifecycle in direct alignment with market dynamics customerneeds and business growth position leads theBCTFlexcoreproduct line a flight-proven Attitude Determination and Control System purpose-built for the rapidly growing small spacecraft market.

Youll bring anoutside the boxmindset sharp commercial instincts and the conviction to tell the business what it needs to hear. Youre equally comfortable negotiating with customers setting product roadmap priorities and pulling cross-functional teams toward a common goal. This role blends the discipline of aerospace Program Management with the growth-oriented mindset of a New Space product leader.

Pay Range: $140000 - $200000
(Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.)
On-site position at our Boulder CO location (work locations are subject to change based on business need).

JobResponsibilities:
Contract and Program Management
- Managecomplexcomponentcontractsindependentlywith domestic and international customers.
- Manage complex cross-functional activities such as contract negotiations scope discrepancies and/or performance expectations.
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned customer contracts
- May include management responsibilities
- Otherresponsibilitiesasassigned.
Product Line Ownership and Business Support
- Monitor and implement action plans associated with product line performance KPIs such as cost per unit on-time delivery first pass yield etc.
- Manage product transitions obsolescence and end of life planning.
- Maintain the product line vision and roadmap alongside the technical lead. Align these items across the businesssuch that they align with company financial and technical objectives.
- Lead cross functional teams across engineering operations supply chain quality and finance to increase the robustness and on-time delivery performance metrics
- Evaluationofexistingandemergingtechnologiesin conjunction with the product technical lead
- Manage product line Risk and Opportunities
- Forecast then own product line budgets inclusive of any IRAD efforts.
- Support pricing strategies in collaboration with sales finance and leadership
- Own the business caseand drive go/no-go decisionsfor new product initiatives changes to customer value proposition and hardware market positioning.
- Represent the product line in executive leadership meetings
Customer & Stakeholder Interface:
- Cultivate leadership level customer relationships and drive strategic account planning with the BCT leadership team
- Support customer communications and serve as their advocate within the organization
- Collaborate with sales team on customer engagement activities
- Workcloselywithcustomerstohelprefine theirneedsand provide innovativeandcompetitive solutions with existing products
Leadership
- Provide mentorship opportunities to more junior PMsand influence organization strategy
- May include personnel management responsibilities
- Ensureallbusinessisconductedusingthehighestethicalstandardsandincompliancewithall applicable laws statutes and regulations as well as company policies and directives
RequiredQualifications/Education:
- 7-12yearsofrelevantexperiencein program management and/or product management
- Bachelorsdegree in engineering Science Business Administration or related fields
- DemonstratedSpace hardwareprogrammanagerexperience.
- Experiencewithallphasesoftheproductlifecycle (business developmentconcept formulation requirements flow-down manufacturing integration and test and post-delivery support)
- Excellentunderstanding of systems engineering principles and all elements of the product lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to leadcross-functional teams and execute without direct authority.
- ExcellentPMO and financial acumen (cost structures risk and opportunities return on investment)
- Experience leadingcustomer proposals/bids.
- Demonstrated soft skills to work with large/small and domestic/international customers within arapidly changingenvironmentwithminimal supervision.
- Mustbeabletoworkinahighly collaborativefast-pacedenvironment with emphasisonrapid prototyping and fielding of capabilities
- Demonstratedleadershiptimemanagementfacilitationandorganizationalskills
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- The ability to prepare clearly summarize meeting notes prepare customer deliverables and cross-functional PowerPoint presentationsup to the executive level.

Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers scanners filing cabinets and fax machines. BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
