Sr CivilStructural Engineer

Design Hire is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to support engineering procurement and construction projects within industrial and energy-related facilities. This position focuses on the structural analysis and design of buildings pipe racks equipment foundations and supporting infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a licensed Professional Engineer with a strong technical background in industrial structural engineering and experience delivering complex projects from initial design through construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis calculations and design for industrial buildings pipe racks equipment foundations steel structures and concrete systems.
  
• Develop and review engineering drawings specifications design calculations and technical documentation for EPC projects.
  
• Design structural systems to accommodate equipment loads piping loads wind seismic forces and other applicable loading conditions.
  
• Coordinate with civil mechanical piping electrical and construction teams to ensure structural designs meet project requirements and schedules.
  
• Provide technical support during procurement fabrication and construction including reviewing submittals resolving design issues and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline required.
  
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  
• Experience in civil/structural engineering design and analysis for industrial oil and gas LNG petrochemical or related facilities.
  
• Previous experience supporting EPC projects including detailed engineering and multidisciplinary coordination.
  
• Strong knowledge of structural steel reinforced concrete equipment foundations industrial buildings and pipe rack design.
  
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000 RISA-3D or similar programs.
  
• Working knowledge of applicable engineering codes and standards including AISC ACI ASCE 7 and IBC.
  
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to manage engineering deliverables and coordinate across project teams.
