RIGHTECH is a leading nationwide provider of technical staffing services and we are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Sr. Cable Technician in Shreveport LA starting ASAP.
Job Title: Sr. Cable Technician
Location: Shreveport LA
Duration: 3- 4 months
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description:
Will be rolling out network equipment at churches in locations within 2 hours of Shreveport LA
Each site should take approx 3 days to complete. Will be running cat 6 cable mounting new wireless access points and punching down at the patch panel.
Most of the work is daytime hours but there is expected to be overtime.
Candidates need to be comfortable working on ladders and scissor lifts.
Must be willing to use own vehicle - Mileage will be reimbursed at $0.76/mile. Drive time over 1 hour will be paid for.
Must have and be able to transport a 6 foot ladder
Required PPE: Full PPE
Required Tools: Basic cabling tools
