Join our sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific where youll make a meaningful impact helping customers advance scientific discovery and improve human health. As a Sr Biosciences Account Manager youll use your scientific expertise and consultative sales skills to build strong relationships with customers across academia biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. Youll manage a defined territory primarily through phone email and virtual engagement with some travel to customer sites.
Youll contribute to revenue growth by identifying new opportunities developing existing accounts and providing solutions that help customers achieve their research and clinical goals. Youll receive comprehensive training in our extensive product portfolio and professional selling techniques equipping you to have meaningful technical discussions and craft effective value propositions.

Keys to Success:
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree required with 5 years of professional work experience including at least 2 years of sales experience within the life sciences industry Preferred Fields of Study: Biology Molecular Biology Biochemistry or related life science field
Hands-on laboratory experience or technical background in molecular biology cell biology or related areas preferred
Strong understanding of life science research workflows and applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to discuss technical concepts
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining customer relationships
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office suite
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Results-oriented with proven record of achieving sales targets
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel up to 25% for customer visits and meetings
Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $32.74$45.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
