Senior Associate Quality Engineer

Position Summary

McKesson Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate Quality Engineer with a solid foundation in test automation API testing and performance validation. With 2 years of experience the ideal candidate will support the development and execution of testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of our software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop execute and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
• Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Assist in performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Collaborate with development DevOps and product teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software lifecycle.
• Apply AI-driven testing methodologies to optimize defect detection and validation workflows implementing AI solutions within quality assurance environments
• Document and manage test cases execution and results using test management tools like Jira or TestRail.
• Analyze test outcomes report defects and participate in root cause analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements and adoption of new testing technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience). With 2 years of relevant experience including internships.

Critical Skills

• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks API testing and basic performance testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or JavaScript.
• Experience implementing AI/ML conceptsand their application in quality engineering
• Experience with CI/CD tools and basic DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Attributes

• Exposure to healthcare supply chain or logistics domains.
• Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
• Interest in AI/ML concepts and their application in quality engineering.
