SQL DEVELOPER

As a SQL Developer at VigorCare you will play a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining our SQL databases. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and effective management of our data allowing us to deliver high-quality care to our patients. You will work closely with our IT team and other departments to identify and implement database solutions that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design develop and maintain SQL databases for various applications and systems within the organization

- Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases

- Optimize database performance by identifying and resolving issues and implementing best practices

- Collaborate with IT team members to ensure data integrity security and availability

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner

- Develop and maintain documentation of database structure processes and procedures

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements

- Work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions to support their business processes

- Participate in database design and code reviews to ensure quality and consistency

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field

- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management

- Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes

- Knowledge of database security backup and recovery procedures

- Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets

- Effective communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
