As a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist you will:
Develop debug and test T-SQL code to address a wide range of technical and analytical problems
Determine and implement effective strategies to explore analyze interpret standardize and conform complex datasets
Collaborate with team members to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in requirements
Assist Solutions Architects in the development of data processing plans that address the custom needs of each project
Interface with business stakeholders to identify new and/or clarify existing requirements
Manage and prioritize assigned tasks ensuring deadlines are achieved communicating appropriately about progress and obstacles
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
10 years of experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databases
Advanced or expert-level experience developing T-SQL code
Strong experience tuning T-SQL queries and optimizing database server performance
Experience performing complex data analysis on large data sets
5 years of experience leading the development of technical solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work through under-defined problems
Ability to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet business needs
Excellent communication skills with peers managers and business stakeholders
Comfortable in consultative conversations and able to explain technical challenges and solutions to non-technical teams
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field preferred
