VigorCare Pediatric Services is seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our growing team in Columbus Ohio. As a SQL Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining databases and data-driven applications for our pediatric healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop database solutions that meet their needs
- Create and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and functions to extract data for reporting and analysis
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues
- Monitor database systems and proactively identify and address potential issues
- Develop and maintain database documentation including data dictionaries data flow diagrams and ER diagrams
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in database development and administration
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SQL Developer or Database Administrator
- Strong understanding of database design and development principles
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries stored procedures and functions
- Experience with ETL processes and tools
- Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with database security best practices
