Commitment: Spring 2027 (JanuaryApril) 1520 hours per week
Our Spring Events Intern will support our Executive Assistant Team by assisting with event planning coordination and preparation for corporate events and internal activities. This internship provides hands-on experience in event management administrative support and professional communication while helping ensure successful employee and company events.
What Our Corporate Event Interns Do:
- Support Event Planning & Coordination: Assist with collecting information from vendors communicating with vendor contacts coordinating event logistics and helping prepare materials needed for company events including guest lists name tags and event collateral.
- Manage Event Details: Coordinate RSVPs for internal guests organize event supplies place orders and assist with event setup and preparation to ensure a positive experience for attendees.
- Provide Administrative Support: Perform a variety of administrative tasks for the Executive Assistant team and assist Human Resources and Administrative teams with special projects as needed.
- Deliver Exceptional Service: Represent The Cason Group professionally while working with employees vendors and event participants.
What We Are Looking For:
- Current juniors or rising seniors graduating between December 2027 and May 2028 are preferred.
- Students currently enrolled at an accredited college/university pursuing a bachelors degree in Event Management Hospitality Communications Marketing Business Administration Human Resources or a related field.
- Previous event planning event coordination student organization leadership or volunteer experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience with Canva Microsoft Excel Outlook and the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image.
