Spring 2027 Communications Intern

Primary Purpose:

Work with school faculty staff students parents and community to create meaningful content that helps advance the Districts brand marketing campaigns and storytelling efforts.

Education:

1. Currently enrolled undergraduate student.
2. Complete a minimum of 60 semester hours toward a Degree in Communications Marketing English Digital Design or related content.

Special Knowledge / Skills:

1. Knowledge of Photography Writing Graphic Design & Video Production preferred.
2. Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience / Other Requirements:

1. Experience working with Social Media.
2. Flexible availability.
3. Entry level skills in photography writing and/or graphic design.

Internship Time Period:

The Communications Internship is only valid for the pre-approved Fall or Spring Semester.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist in content creation.
2. Photography
3. Writing feature stories
4. Basic graphic design
5. Video Production

Administration

1. Comply with all district and campus routines and regulations.
2. Maintain a positive and effective relationship with supervisors.
3. Communicate effectively with colleagues students and parents.
4. Adhere to the ethical and legal standards and model behavior that is professional and responsible.
