Job Summary
The Essential Functions of this position are:

- Identify evaluate and provide speech intervention for impacted students.
- Develop goals objectives and treatment plans that suit individual student needs within a diverse population.
- Keep detailed records relating to students assessments IEPs and progress.
- Ensure the highest standards of student care by collecting and analyzing data to evaluate the programs effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Report progress and interpret assessment results to stakeholders including but not limited to school districts SPED/BCBAs and family members.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team environment including but not limited to SPED teacher/BCBAs Behavior Specialists to develop and implement comprehensive IEPs across school locations.
- Maintain compliance with regulations accreditation standards and ethical guidelines.
- Stay abreast of current research and best practices in the SLP field and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Fulfill hours as assigned by IEPs.
- Other duties as assigned.
The minimum qualifications and requirements:
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- A valid CT state certification for SLP (endorsement #061) required.
- ASHA CCC-SLP required.
- Experience in assessment and intervention for a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Experience with AAC assessment and AAC implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
