Job Description

A school district serving students from preschool through high school is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services across multiple age groups. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and evaluation skills experience working with preschool students and the ability to provide guidance to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants while collaborating with educators and other school professionals.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide speech and language services to preschool-aged students.
  • Conduct speech language and communication evaluations.
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on individual student needs.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate clinical and educational documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers special education staff families and related service providers.
  • Provide oversight and support to SLPAs working within the middle and high school programs.
  • Participate in student meetings and contribute to individualized education plans.
  • Help identify and address students communication needs across educational settings.
  • Work collaboratively with the districts special education and related-services teams.

Experience you will need:

  • Appropriate Massachusetts SLP licensure/credentials.
  • Experience providing speech-language services in a school setting.
  • Preschool experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience conducting student evaluations.
  • Ability to provide oversight or supervision to SLPAs.
  • Strong communication organization and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students across different age groups.
  • Must be comfortable working fully in person.
  • Part-time or full-time availability may be considered.
