Schedule: Day Shift 5x7.5 Hours 37.5 Hours per Week
Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students during the school year. This position will work with students in grades K5 within an elementary school setting and provide speech and language services to a manageable caseload.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting student communication development and collaborating with educators families and multidisciplinary teams.

Job Details
  • Elementary school setting
  • Student age group: Kindergarten through 5th Grade
  • Caseload size: Approximately 2030 students
  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
  • All orientation hours billable
  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) accepted
Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services for school-aged students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers parents and support staff regarding student progress
  • Maintain accurate therapy documentation and compliance records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Support communication language articulation fluency and related disorders
Required Qualifications
  • Active Illinois Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous elementary school experience
  • Experience managing IEPs and school documentation systems
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary educational teams
