Contract Details: Full-time

Salary: Up to $55 per hour

Our client a reputable SNF facility in Pahokee Florida is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join their team on a full-time basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a significant impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients speech language and swallowing abilities

- Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients communication and swallowing disorders

- Provide therapy sessions to patients to improve their speech language and swallowing skills

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physicians nurses and occupational therapists to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients

- Monitor and document patients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities

- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field of speech language pathology

Qualifications:

- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

- Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist

- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a SNF setting preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong organizational and time-management skills
