Estimated Compensation: $60 $72 per hour
Job Overview
Join a supportive special education team in the heart of Californias historic Sierra Nevada foothills. We are seeking a dedicated compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to support K-12 students with diverse communication and language needs. You will help students break through communication barriers grow their confidence and succeed both socially and academically.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and identify speech language and communication deficits in K-12 students.
- Develop and execute individualized education programs (IEPs) and targeted therapy plans.
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy in individual and small group formats.
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary IEP team meetings.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking via compliant school systems.
- Partner closely with teachers parents and school staff to support student generalization.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid California SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- School-based or pediatric clinical experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IEP procedures and school-based documentation.
