Job Summary
Adelphi is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech therapy support services in a school setting in San Antonio Texas.
The ideal candidate will assist with speech therapy services student support documentation and implementation of speech therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) while supporting student communication and individualized therapy goals.

Requirements:
Appropriate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant credential or certification as required by the State of Texas.
Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Ability to provide speech therapy support services in accordance with assigned student IEPs and SLP direction.
Responsibilities:
Assist the supervising SLP with the implementation of students speech therapy services.
Provide assigned speech therapy activities under the direction and supervision of the SLP.
Support students in achieving speech and communication goals identified in their IEPs.
Assist with therapy activities and exercises appropriate to assigned students needs.
Follow treatment plans schedules and instructions established by the supervising SLP.
Monitor and document student participation and progress during assigned therapy activities.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to services provided.
Follow District standards procedures and applicable requirements for student services.
Communicate student needs and observations to the supervising SLP.
Maintain student confidentiality and comply with school and District requirements.
Any other duties as assigned.
