Are you a Special Education Teacher who enjoys creating learning experiences that meet students where they are Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a full-time Elementary Special Education Teacher to support students in a Michigan school district throughout the school year.
This role is centered on individualized instruction meaningful student progress and collaboration. Youll tailor lessons to different learning styles provide targeted support and use student performance data to guide instruction. Working alongside teachers specialists and families youll help create a classroom environment where students can participate develop new skills and work toward their individual goals.
Your Role
The selected educator will develop and implement IEPs provide individualized and small-group instruction and modify curriculum activities and teaching strategies to address student needs. Youll monitor academic and developmental progress support behavioral and social growth and help maintain consistent inclusive practices across learning environments. Collaboration with general education teachers families specialists and multidisciplinary teams will be an important part of the position.
Requirements
- Strong classroom organization and communication skills.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
- Ability to adapt instruction for students with varying learning needs.
- Experience in a resource inclusion or self-contained classroom is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with educators families and student support professionals.
- Current Michigan teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement or eligibility to obtain the required credential.
