Job Summary
The mission of the Loomis Union School District is to provide outstanding educational instruction so that each of our students is enabled to reach their full Loomis Union School District is comprised of seven elementary schools serving students in transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. Teachers staff parents and students work collaboratively to create a safe nurturing and academically engaging school environment in a community that strongly supports its schools.
Loomis Union School District is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Education Teacher to join our Educational Services team. The RSP Teacher provides direct instruction and consultation services to students with mild/moderate disabilities in a resource room/learning center or in the general education classroom and works closely with families general education teachers and site staff to ensure students make meaningful progress toward their IEP addition to the regular salary schedule placement special education teachers in our district also receive an annual stipend that is listed below in the Comments section.
Valid California CredentialCLAD or equivalentEducation Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate)Autism AuthorizationESSA Compliant Applicants should be proficient in delivering specialized academic instruction to students with identified special needs in accordance with IEPs; competent in conducting assessments to identify areas of need related to academic performance at Materials Letter of IntroductionResumeLetters of Recommendation (3)
