Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in an autism classroom serving elementary and middle school students in Boulder CO. Youll provide individualized instruction implement IEPs and create a structured supportive learning environment tailored to students academic behavioral and developmental needs. Youll partner with a collaborative school district and receive support from our therapist-owned and operated team.

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students needs
• Support students with autism through structured routines and individualized strategies
• Implement positive behavior support strategies and maintain a supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers specialists and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to support diverse learning needs
  
  

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Experience supporting students with autism preferred
• School-based experience preferred but not required
