Requirements:

Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate substitute permit or special education credential as applicable to the assignment

Compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Education credentialing requirements

Experience working with students with disabilities preferred

Responsibilities:

Provide substitute instructional coverage in special education classrooms or inclusive classroom settings.

Support implementation of assigned lesson plans accommodations and student support strategies.

Assist students with academic tasks classroom participation and daily routines.

Maintain a structured supportive and safe learning environment.

Collaborate with classroom teachers aides paraprofessionals and school staff as needed.

Monitor student engagement and report concerns progress or incidents to designated staff.

Maintain confidentiality of student information and comply with school policies.

Follow school procedures and code of conduct.

Any other duties as assigned.
