Calyx Containers is hiring a Sourcing Analyst to provide sourcing support for the most advanced digital packaging operations in the country.

We started as a packaging design shop (well really as a stuffed animal bong bag company) moved to Utah to build one of the most advanced digital printing innovation centers in the U.S. and recently launched Calyx Cure a cultivation technology already taking the industry by storm. The supply chain behind all of this is scaling fast and we need a sharp analytical person to help us keep it tight.

Youll work directly with the Director of Supply Chain on sourcing vendor management and inventory replenishment across Calyx Cure and our broader product line. This is a hands-on in-person role at the Calyx Spaceship our manufacturing facility and HQ.

What youll do

Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Support supplier selection qualification market research and onboarding for new and existing products
• Help run RFQs build cost comparisons and support negotiation cycles
• Maintain the supplier quality governance process assessments audits performance reviews issue management
• Partner with the Product team to scope new products and gather market-fit requirements
• Maintain vendor scorecards (fill rate OTIF forecast accuracy) and surface trends to the team
• Build and maintain relationships with manufacturing partners and 3PLs to align production and replenishment schedules

VMI & Replenishment

• Manage VMI for assigned accounts: forecast at SKU/site level publish reorder proposals execute within agreed min/max and kanban rules
• Help manage Calyx Cure inventory from production through fulfillment driving availability and minimizing obsolescence

Data & Systems

• Keep master data clean across NetSuite and supporting systems
• Build dashboards and reports the team actually uses
• Champion automation of manual processes propose ideas prototype solutions and partner with internal teams to build data pipelines between Calyx and vendor systems
• Document inventory management procedures so theyre repeatable and dont live in someones head

What success looks like in year one

• Vendor service: OTIF and fill rate at or above target across managed suppliers; backorders trending down
• Forecast accuracy: Measurable MAPE improvement on Calyx Cure SKUs
• Onboarding velocity: New vendors and products qualified and active within agreed cycle times
• Process maturity: Supplier scorecards live and reviewed quarterly; documented SOPs for the top inventory workflows
• Automation: At least one meaningful manual process eliminated or automated end-to-end

What were looking for

• 23 years in sourcing procurement supply chain or a similar operations role
• Bachelors degree in Business Operations Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience
• ERP experience required NetSuite a strong plus
• Advanced Excel; comfort with BI tools (Power BI Tableau or similar); bonus for SQL Python or Minitab
• Strong analytical and problem-solving instincts; Lean Six Sigma a plus
• Solid written and verbal communication with the ability to build real relationships with vendors and internal teams
• Comfort with negotiation or genuine eagerness to learn it
• Detail-oriented and organized; able to manage multiple workstreams without dropping balls
• Comfortable in a fast-paced regulated evolving industry (cannabis experience welcome but not required)
• Self-directed but collaborative
