Job Summary
This role offers an opportunity to provide mobile vascular ultrasound services across a wide range of facilities. Candidates will enjoy autonomy a supportive team environment and opportunities for professional growth. The position requires strong technical skills independence and excellent communication while traveling to multiple client sites using a company vehicle.
Key Responsibilities Self-dispatch or communicate with dispatch department to receive case load Transport and operate portable sonographic equipment at various client facilities Perform ultrasound exams ordered by physicians and send images digitally to Radiologist Verify patient identity using two identifiers and confirm exam orders before scanning Check voicemail and dispatch system regularly during shift Maintain company uniform name tag and phone on person Respond to urgent communications within 15 minutes Attend required meetings and training sessions Maintain vehicle and equipment in good condition Comply with medical ethics drug-free workplace policies and company code of conduct Train other technologists as required Complete daily scanning of exam paperwork and billing per protocol Provide documentation of medical physical exams TB screening and infection control annually
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher
- Cardiac Sonography (1 years)
- Valid Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification/license
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Regular Driver License (DL)
- Commercial Driver License (CDL)
- Regular Driver License (DL)
- Are you currently vaccinated against COVID-19
Benefits
Schedule and Shift Details Work schedule involves traveling to multiple locations including nursing homes home care facilities prisons and processing sites. Must arrive at first case at shift start or leave home 30 minutes prior. Check in with dispatch every 30 minutes as needed. Travel Extensive regional travel throughout area using company vehicle
