Job Summary
Peraton is currently seeking to hire a Solutions Architect to become a member of their Federal Strategic Cyber Group.
Location: Northern Virginia (On-Site) Full-Time
Join a team at the forefront of protecting critical national security missions. We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to help shape and secure enterprise-scale environments supporting some of the Federal Governments most important cyber initiatives. This is a highly visible role where you will influence security strategy architect innovative solutions and collaborate with senior technical leaders to strengthen mission resilience against evolving threats.
What Youll Do:
As a Solutions Architect you will serve as a trusted technical leader responsible for designing and advancing enterprise security architectures that support complex Federal and national security environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define design and evolve enterprise security architectures and cybersecurity solutions.
- Partner with Application Infrastructure Cloud and Data teams to implement secure scalable and resilient technologies.
- Establish and maintain security standards policies frameworks and technical guidance across the enterprise.
- Lead security architecture reviews risk assessments compliance evaluations and remediation efforts.
- Develop and maintain Security Risk Management Plans aligned to mission objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative security capabilities to enhance organizational security posture.
- Author technical recommendations architecture documentation and executive-level briefings for stakeholders.
- Support compliance with Federal cybersecurity frameworks and security regulations.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline and a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience.
- An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the bachelors degree requirement.
- Must either possess and maintain or obtain prior to start date one of the following professional certifications:
CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional
Security CompTIA Security
Net CompTIA Network
A CompTIA A
MCP Microsoft Certified Professional
MCSE Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate
MCSA Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - U.S. citizenship required.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience conducting industry and peer security reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to author white papers technical recommendations or security architecture documentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to brief technical and executive audiences.
- Prior experience in Federal or DoD cybersecurity programs.
- CISM Certification
- CCSP Certification
