Solid Waste Landfill Maintenance (Full-Time)

The City of Brady is taking applications for Solid Waste Landfill Maintenance (PDF).

• This employee helps directs customers to the proper tipping locations inspects loads for items which cant be accepted and rejects same.
• Performs other tasks associated with solid waste collection disposal and maintenance of the landfill dumpsters and poly cart trash cans also operates landfill equipment and runs scale house when necessary.
• Assists on the back of the refuse truck when needed.
• Lifts and carries up to 100 pounds pulls pushes drags up to 150 pounds while performing other duties; sits stands walks climbs crawls kneels squats stoops and twists for extended periods while performing job duties; works outdoors in extreme temperatures including heat and cold temperature and inclement weather; performs other tasks as directed.
