Software Test Engineer (C# & .NET)

Based in our Shakopee Minnesota location you will design and implement software to verify and validate world-class safety-critical industrial automation equipment.

IN THIS ROLE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:

• Work with a team to design and implement automated tests and test infrastructure.
• Participate in reviews of product requirements test designs and implementations.
• Work with multi-functional teams to help solve engineering challenges.
• Provide analysis for change requests considering the impact to product testing and schedule.
• Collaborate with firmware developers.

WHO YOU ARE: You solicit both input and create a plan and outline for various audiences. You include others in making decisions creating a consensus focus on creating an effective collaborative style. You stay aligned with the teams goals and stay balance planning with action.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science

• Zero to Four (0-4) years of applicable experience in Microsoft Visual Studio C# .NET application development

• Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• An ABET-accredited engineering degree.
• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with requirements-based black box and grey box testing.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary within the local market in which we operate and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $76000-$105000annually commensurate with the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role.
