The Software Strategic Sourcing Manager will oversee the endtoend strategic sourcing and contract lifecycle for enterprise and specialty software. They will lead complex software negotiations drive licensing optimization and product rationalization efforts and manage key supplier relationships to maximize value and reduce risk.

Responsibilities:

• Lead strategic sourcing for new software purchases conducting needs assessments managing RFx processes and negotiating enterprise agreements.

• Own the renewal management for existing software contracts initiating reviews 90 days before expiration to optimize terms and right-size licenses.

• Analyze utilization in partnership with our Technical Data and Innovation team members to identify cost savings through license optimization consolidation and elimination of redundant applications.

• Partner with IT Security Legal and business stakeholders to evaluate suppliers against technical security and commercial requirements.

• Negotiate complex SaaS and perpetual license agreements including pricing models SLAs data security provisions and exit terms.

• Maintain supplier relationships through structured business reviews performance tracking and issue resolution

• Feed market intelligence and sourcing insights back to the IT Category Manager to inform broader category strategy.

• Engage and participate in special projects or complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred

• 5 years of experience in procurement strategic sourcing and supplier management required

• Direct experience in negotiating software and SaaS agreements

• Deep knowledge of software licensing models (subscription perpetual named user concurrent consumption-based).

• Strong analytical capabilities comfortable with spend data utilization metrics and TCO modeling

• Experience with enterprise software suppliers (Microsoft Salesforce Smartsheets Adobe etc)

• Familiarity with SaaS management platforms (Zylo Productiv Flexera or similar)

The pay rate range for this job position are listed below. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicants skills prior experience qualifications degrees professional certifications work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.

The national pay rate range is $84000 to $186220
