Software Product Security Engineer Intern

This opportunity is intended for conversion to a full-time role that will not offer work authorization sponsorship in the future (full-time conversion pending performance evaluation post internship and available headcount). Responsibilities

• Design develop and test software for enterprise device-security solutions.
• Build automation tools that improve engineering and testing processes.
• Analyze telemetry data to identify trends risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support integrations with Azure AWS and other cloud services.
• Develop proofs of concept for emerging customer security requirements.
• Troubleshoot software defects and assist with root-cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews technical discussions and Agile development activities.
• Collaborate with engineering security cloud UX and product teams.
• Document technical designs test results and recommendations.

Education

• Currently pursuing a masters degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.

• Must be enrolled full time at an accredited university.

• Has no more than 24 months of prior work experience professionally related to the intern requisition they are applying to (not including internships teaching assistance research work or military experience)

• Able to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2027 and not require sponsorship in the future.

Required Skills

• Programming experience with at least one language such as Python C# Java Go or TypeScript.
• Understanding of software development and testing principles.
• Familiarity with data analysis and software automation.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in an Agile engineering environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity or enterprise device management.
• Experience with APIs cloud-service integration or telemetry systems.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development or analytics.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles for technical products.
