Job Title: Specialist Software Engineer/Cloud Developer

Location: Melbourne FL (Patricks Space Force Base)

Target Pay Rate Range: Pay rate around $65-68/hr range; (Midpoint salary conversion will be $140K)

Security Clearance is Required on Program TS/SCI

Which Security Clearance Approved to Start (including Interim Clearance): Active TS/SCI

Work Schedule: 980-Reg

Shift: 7:45 5 (flexible)

Anticipated Duration of Assignment: 3-12 months Temp to Perm

Description of Work Environment: Onsite in Melbourn FL

Must Haves:

Bachelors Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance.
DoD IAT Level II Certification (e.g. Security) must be obtained within 80 days of hire.
Leverage cloud environment experience with AWS




Nice to Haves

Experience with automating deployments and configuration of EC2 instances.
Cloud Migration experience
Familiarity with the C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments.
Experience with configuration of Gitlab pipelines for automated deployment of cloud resources.
Proficiency in designing developing configurating and deploying cloud-based applications using AWS services.


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Software Engineer/Cloud Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold an active TS/SCI clearance and work onsite at Patrick Space Force Base. This role involves designing developing and deploying scalable secure and cost-effective cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS).


Key Responsibilities:

Leverage experience in cloud development in AWS to build robust cloud-based applications.

Migrate existing applications into cloud-based architecture.

Ensure that the applications are scalable secure and cost-effective by utilizing the best practices and services provided by AWS.

Engage in daily interactions with customers to understand their requirements and provide suitable cloud-based solutions.

Produce detailed documentation to support the design development and deployment processes ensuring clarity and reproducibility.

Adapt to support various mission areas demonstrating flexibility and a strong commitment to achieving mission success.

Qualifications:
