Software Engineer Factory Test Systems
Position Summary
This onsite Tucson role supports the design development and integration of software for factory test systems supporting weapon system products. The engineer will work across the software lifecycle in engineering and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and integrate object-oriented software applications in C# and C
- Develop applications libraries and instrument drivers for factory test systems
- Troubleshoot software instrumentation interface and system-level issues
- Support software integration validation deployment and sustainment activities
- Collaborate with systems electrical mechanical test and manufacturing teams
- Define and refine software requirements for test system products
Required Qualifications
- Experience developing software in C# and/or C
- Experience with object-oriented application development
- Experience supporting software design integration troubleshooting and maintenance
- Ability to work across multiple technical priorities and delivery timelines
- Strong communication coordination and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Factory test systems automated test equipment production test or manufacturing test experience
- Experience developing instrument drivers software libraries or test applications
- Experience supporting aerospace defense electronics or complex hardware products
- Experience with software requirements verification validation or controlled releases
- Experience supporting production deployment or sustainment activities
