Software Engineer Participant Ops

As a Software Engineer at Verily you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing products that are focused on the promise of precision health. Verilys core strategy to advance precision health is by closing the gap between research and care. The Consumer Health Systems Care Console team empowers healthcare professionals to seamlessly coordinate and deliver virtual patient care. Its an enterprise-grade tool designed to empower physicians nurses health coaches and other members of a patients care team. This console is the gateway for users to manage patients support virtual care workflows and drive precision health outcomes. The team is composed of full-stack developers who focus on delivering warm personalized experiences for participants/users. Be at the forefront of innovation and tackle exciting challenges within a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

• Design develop and deliver new full-stack software features across a range of Verily products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify dependencies coordinate delivery and communicate design decisions.
• Come up with ideas to technical design problems compare options and propose solutions.
• Develop using industry-standard tools including GitHub Google Cloud Go React and Terraform to name a few.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• 2 years of experience as a software developer in an industry setting.
• Expertise in building software and systems on any of: GCP AWS or Azure (GCP preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Go TypeScript React and/or SQL.
• Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences with emphasis on HL7 FHIR.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125000 - $178000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
