As a Software Engineer on the Notifications team youll build and operate the systems that deliver timely relevant notifications to millions of Roblox users across push in-app stream email and toast. Youll design ship and measure your own features working with product design data science and ML partners. If youre data-driven and care about getting the right message to the right person youll be right at home on this team!
You Will:
- Build and scale the pipeline that routes and delivers notifications across various channels including onboarding new notification types for teams across Roblox
- Ship and iterate on recommended notifications: candidate expansion ranking and filtering and notification presentation
- Run and analyze A/B experiments to improve reachability engagement and long-term retention
- Contribute to developer-facing notification APIs and operational excellence including observability and on-call
You Have:
- 13 years of industry experience
- Experience building backend or full-stack services
- Experience with distributed systems or large-scale data pipelines
- An analytical mindset with the ability to use data to understand the impact of your work
- Respect for your teammates and a commitment to fostering a collaborative inclusive environment
