Software Engineer Mid

Looking to expand your software engineering We are seeking a high-performing curious and motivated software engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong software development fundamentals a passion for learning and an interest in solving complex business problems in a large-scale enterprise environment.

While prior PeopleSoft experience is not required successful candidates will have to demonstrate strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn enterprise application development platforms and business systems. There will be multiple phases of candidate evaluation to include onsite scenario-based assessments to evaluate a candidates competency to learn new skills related to PeopleSoft. We will provide training mentorship and hands-on experience to help you grow into the role.

What Youll Do

Design develop test and support enterprise software solutions
Learn and leverage delivered capability as much as possible
Work with senior developers and business stakeholders to implement enhancements and solve technical problems
Learn and develop within the PeopleSoft ecosystem including integrations workflows and custom applications
Participate in code reviews debugging testing and continuous improvement efforts
Develop integrations and interfaces between enterprise systems and modern applications/services
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Contribute to technical documentation and development standards
Continuously learn new technologies tools and development practices

What Were Looking For

Required Qualifications

TS/SCI with Polygraph

Experience working in high-paced pressured situation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated curiosity initiative and willingness to learn new technologies
Proficient in use of Microsoft Windows and Office products
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Enterprise Software Applications (Workday Service Now Salesforce)
Internship co-op academic or personal project experience in software development
Exposure to enterprise systems or ERP platforms
Familiarity with cloud platforms web services or integration technologies
Experience working in Agile or collaborative development environments
Exposure to PeopleSoft Oracle technologies or enterprise application support is a plus but not required
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Strong foundation in software development principles and programming concepts
Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java C# Python JavaScript or similar

Understanding of:

o Object-oriented programming
o APIs and system integrations
o Relational databases and SQL
o Source control systems such as Git
o Software development lifecycle and debugging techniques
