Job Title: Software Engineer Full Stack (Java/Spring Boot Angular Azure)

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Mid-to-Senior Full Stack Software Engineers to support the development of a modern cloud-based enterprise platform replacing a legacy system. The role involves hands-on development across backend frontend database cloud infrastructure and system integration layers. Candidates will work in a client-facing environment within a hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery model.

The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in Java Spring Boot Angular/React Azure Cloud Microservices CI/CD REST APIs and database development using MS SQL Server/Azure SQL. Experience with legacy modernization and regulated/public-sector environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Build responsive and accessible front-end applications using Angular
• Develop and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and database schemas on MS SQL Server / Azure SQL
• Integrate applications with external systems through REST APIs DB links and CSV-based data exchanges
• Support migration of legacy/mainframe systems to modern cloud platforms
• Implement and manage Microservices-based architecture
• Deploy and maintain applications on Azure Cloud and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)
• Implement security controls including RBAC MFA SSO and Active Directory integrations
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation
• Support unit testing integration testing UAT and defect resolution activities
• Ensure data integrity auditability and reconciliation during migration processes
• Produce technical documentation and collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders
• Work within a hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery environment

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Extensive experience developing production-grade REST APIs
• Strong expertise in Angular and/or React for frontend development
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Strong SQL development skills using MS SQL Server and/or Azure SQL
• Expertise in query optimization schema design and stored procedures
• Experience with Azure Cloud platform and AKS
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
• Experience with Git and source control management
• Strong understanding of RESTful integration patterns
• Experience with cloud-based application deployment
• Experience with legacy system modernization and migration projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in public-sector government or regulated-industry environments
• Experience with system-to-cloud migration projects
• Experience implementing WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards
• Experience integrating SSO MFA RBAC and Active Directory
• Experience with structured data migration and reconciliation
• Familiarity with Azure-based regulated cloud environments
• Experience working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models
