Job Summary
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a talented IT/Engineer student that is excited to improve battlespace awareness and decision-making Support at all echelons across Combat Air Force (AF) Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) enterprise Intelligence Community (IC) Joint and Coalition air space cyberspace and intelligence components systems and architectures.
Youll support software development and engineering operations and maintenance (O&M) and research and development (R&D) for AF C2 & ISR related research studies analysis operations and youll increase mission effectiveness improve information security and implement new and emerging information access processing analysis and dissemination technologies in response to critical AF and IC multi-domain needs across Air Space and Cyber.

This position is located in Omaha NE selected interns will be required to work a hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the Omaha NE office.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing developing operating and maintaining software firmware components or computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with solutions or products that also encompass non-information technology related engineering or scientific disciplines. These solutions or products may require hardware aerospace communications cyber electrical manufacturing mechanical or other specialized engineering domain knowledge in order to design develop and support software components embedded within them. Applies the appropriate software standards processes procedures and tools throughout the system life cycle to support the generation of multidisciplinary solutions and products such as simulations of engineering and scientific problems avionics command and control tactical displays medical devices sensors and electro-mechanical systems. Interfaces with customers suppliers application users and other technical and support personnel.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 1 years experience with modern software development e.g. Java (J2EE) JavaScript Spring etc. as part of a development team utilizing strict configuration management practices e.g. git Bitbucket Gitlab GitHub.
- 1 years experience with modern web application development to include JavaScript and Angular.
- Experience with industry standard build packaging and deployment tools such as Jenkins Gitlab Maven Yum NPM and RPM.
- Skilled in debugging and run time
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
Desired:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred but not required
- Previous internship/co-op or other work experience leadership and teamwork capabilities interpersonal communication skills and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

Pay Range:
