Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Participate in the design implementation and test of firmware/software systems.

• Understand hardware and software interactions and collaborate with Hardware Engineers.

• Prepare and maintain designs and test documentation.

• Mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians.

• Follow and apply SEL Values Principles of Operations and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Required Qualifications Include:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

• Typically 2 years experience in one or more of the following areas-Graphical User Interface applications in Windows environments including: Object oriented design and object oriented languages (C C# Delphi Java)Embedded Linux systems development including: C C Python and other scripting languages Embedded systems firmware development including: Real-time firmware design and C and assembly languages

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• Industrial controls

• 3-phase electric power systems

• Modern communications protocols

• Digital and analog circuitry

• Digital communications and signal processing

• Project management

Pay Range Data -$97700 - $130300 annually

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience training knowledge and skills. We are looking to fill this position at theEngineer level and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background we may consider you for a different level with compensation aligned accordingly.

Associate Software Engineer: $84200 - $112300 annually

Software Engineer: $97700 - $130300 annually

Lead Software Engineer: $115300 - $153700 annually
