The Associate Software Engineer designs develops tests and maintains software solutions that support Broadridges products and platforms. Working as part of a collaborative engineering team this role contributes to the full software development lifecycle by building high-quality scalable applications while applying software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering solution design and software development.

• Design develop test debug and maintain high-quality software applications.

• Write clean efficient and maintainable code following established development standards.

• Plan and complete assigned development tasks while meeting project deadlines.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions.

• Participate in code reviews technical discussions and problem-solving activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.

• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and software engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms including multithreading and socket programming.

• Experience designing and developing high-quality software.

• Strong analytical problem-solving and collaboration skills.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise-scale distributed software applications.

• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments and distributed architectures.

• Knowledge of Agile or other software development methodologies.

• Experience working with global or offshore development teams.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Salary Range: 80000..00 USD annual
