Software Engineer, Backend

Join an early-stage cybersecurity team as a backend-focused Software Engineer. You will build and scale a platform that helps organizations understand and manage security risks across their digital environments.

• Build and maintain backend services and integrations with enterprise security platforms.
• Design platform components and event-driven pipelines that process large volumes of security data using Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
• Develop multi-tenant data features including risk scoring anomaly detection and time-series aggregation.
• Contribute to infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform including deployment pipelines monitoring and observability.
• Ship features regularly debug production issues and collaborate with teammates with opportunities for direct customer interaction.

• Five or more years of backend software engineering experience ideally in an early-stage or high-growth startup.
• Hands-on experience with Go and macOS and Windows endpoints.
• Strong backend experience with substantial backend work if your background is full-stack.
• Experience with systems internals platform engineering and production-scale systems.
• Ability to own projects end to end make and document architectural decisions and deliver beyond maintenance work.
• Experience working with large-scale systems and ideally deploying LLMs in production.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Base salary is $160000 to $200000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Hybrid role based in California United States.
