Software Engineer AI Experiences

Were a small team at Apple betting on what comes next. We believe AI will fundamentally change how people interact with their devices and were looking for software engineers who want to build that cant say much about what were building for our customers. What we can say: the problems are genuinely new and the potential reach is the work were a collaborative humble and curious group that loves learning from each other and building together.

Youll work alongside a tight group of engineers designers and researchers to bring AI features from early prototype to product. This is 0-to-1 work from a rough idea on a whiteboard to software running on real devices. Youll have a lot of autonomy in how you get there. Youll grow here. The work is hard enough to demand it and the team is generous enough to support it.

Designing and building iOS-based software that re-imagines and creates new Apple experiences using AInPrototyping rapidly to explore what works then making it realnPartnering closely with Design Machine Learning and other teams to shape features not just implement specsnContributing to architecture decisions absorbing how senior engineers think and growing your technical voicenInvesting in the quality and reliability of what you ship through testing tooling and infrastructure that gives the team confidence

3 years of mobile or application development experience strong CS fundamentals iOS and Swift experience is a plus but if youre strong in another platform youll pick it up shipped software that people used and youre ready to own bigger pieces end-to-endnYou figure things out. When youre stuck you dig in reading the source building a prototype or asking the right questionsnComfortable with ambiguity you may not have all the answers yet but you know how to find themnYou work well with others and communicate clearly across teamsnYoure curious about AI tools and already experimenting with how they change the way you write codenB.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience required
