As a Software Engineer you will work alongside experienced engineers scientists and product teams to develop applications and digital solutions that support research and development. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about technology enjoy solving complex problems and are eager to learn new tools and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design develop test and maintain software applications that support scientific research and business operations.

• Collaborate with software engineers scientists and product teams to deliver solutions that address real-world challenges.

• Learn and apply modern technologies such as cloud platforms AI-assisted development tools web frameworks and data platforms.

• Contribute to applications built using technologies such as AWS React Python Databricks Power Platform GitHub and SharePoint.

• Support the adoption of AI-enabled solutions and explore emerging technologies that can create business value.

• Participate in code reviews testing troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities.

• Document solutions and share knowledge with team members.

• Contribute to Agile product teams through planning development and delivery activities.

Education Minimum Requirement

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Required Experience and Skills

• Understanding of software development fundamentals including programming testing debugging and version control.

• Curiosity creativity and a desire to learn new technologies.

• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Experience through coursework internships co-op programs research projects open-source contributions or personal projects.

• Exposure to one or more of the following technologies: Python JavaScript/TypeScript React AWS Azure Databricks GitHub or Power Platform.

• Interest in AI data analytics cloud computing or scientific computing.

• Background or interest in life sciences bioinformatics computational chemistry or related scientific disciplines.

• Familiarity with Agile development practices.

The salary range for this role is

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills geographic location government requirements and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive if applicable.
