Software Engineer 2

MW Partners is currently seeking a Software Engineer to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Thorough understanding of test methodology test life cycle bug life cycle.
• Production/test Experience in Gaming/Animation industry is an added advantage.
• Experience with any Animation software including Flash/Animate authoring tool. ACE certification advantage.
• Experience with any scripting language such as HTML JavaScript perl python shell etc
• Should have ability to Write and maintain test specs and scripts
• Ability to interpret project specifications
• Works closely with development
• Good time management skills
• Superior communication skills
• Ability to use testing tools for product area Advanced knowledge of one core operation system
• Ability to take on new tasks
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills Exp 2-5yrs

Requirements:

• BE Or Diploma in Animation
• For this job we are searching for people with- Education in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Bachelors or Masters degree is a plus Minimum 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance and automation Passion for web technologies sharp eye for detail and critical thinking abilities Ability to easily learn new technologies Good knowledge of software testing fundamentals. Good understanding of common testing methodologies and ability to apply them.
• Ability to understand and interpret product specifications Good problem solving and diagnostic skills experience with troubleshooting.
• Relevant experience in working with web technologies Knowledge of scripting and programming languages Familiar with automated testing tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English both verbal and written Experience in developing test automation frameworks and systems Relevant experience in working with and developing applications based on Java ActionScript JavaScript Python Working in a Scrum team or in an Agile environment Working with remote teams
