As a(n) Software Engineer Principal within PNCs Data and Automation organization you will be based in Dallas Pittsburgh Cleveland Strongsville-OH or Birmingham.
We are seeking a Software / DevOps Engineer with strong experience building containerized applications and automated delivery pipelines in environments that run on Red Hat OpenShift.
This role focuses on using and deploying to OpenShift not administering or supporting the OpenShift platform itself. You will work closely with platform teams while concentrating on application containerization image creation and CI/CD pipelines that deploy reliably into enterprise OpenShift environments.
The ideal candidate understands how applications run on OpenShift how to package them correctly and how to integrate them into secure automated delivery pipelines.
Experience includes:
deploying or running applications on Red Hat OpenShift
experience with container image creation
experience with Spark Trino Airflow and Iceberg
experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
understanding of Kubernetes concepts from an application perspective
with Git and modern development workflows
with Helm or templated Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments
