Join Apples Identity Management Services (IdMS) team as a Software Engineer and be part of building the next generation of innovative high-scale software are looking for a passionate and driven engineer with experience in developing and deploying large-scale high-demand this role youll be involved in the full software development lifecyclefrom architecture and design to implementation testing and maintenance. You will contribute to developing new product features enhancing existing functionality and driving performance and code quality part of the IdMS team youll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including business stakeholders engineering peers QA teams product managers and human interface designers. Define implement and continuously evolve automated test frameworks; monitor CI performance; and drive test result analysis triage and gaps in existing test plans and close them with scalability and maintainability in all quality work and serve as a strong advocate for quality throughout the software development effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on with engineers designers and program managers to surface and resolve UX and technical issues early in the development to security and privacy testing practices relevant to authentication and identity management systems.n

5 years of proven experience in Software Development and/or Quality passion for quality assurance including developing and maintaining automated test libraries and programming and software design skills preferably in Swift and/or knowledge of and experience with test methodologies ranging from functional unit tests to integration regression and exploratory building automated UI and non-UI tests for user-facing applications or system frameworks including testing on iOS macOS Web Android and problem solver with a knack for building scalable solutions in a collaborative cross-functional to proactively triage investigate and debug difficult technical and UX problems both independently and communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.n

Familiarity with Identity Management Services in build tools and CI/CD with security privacy or authentication-related ability to deliver high-quality work under tight leveraging Generative AI tools (e.g. LLMs prompt engineering) to accelerate test authoring coverage analysis or defect of the Apple development ecosystem including Xcode Xcode Cloud and XCTest/ with bug tracking and test management tools such as Radar or JIRA.
