A day in the life
Youll start your day collaborating with team members on a new algorithm to optimize package routing across international borders. After lunch youll dive into coding implementing improvements to the distributed system that tracks millions of shipments in real-time. You might attend a weekly learning session to stay updated on industry trends or participate in a mentoring program. Your day could end with a brainstorming session for the upcoming hackathon or joining colleagues for a friendly board game night.

- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- Bachelors degree or above in Engineering Technology Science Operations Research Robotics Mathematics or related fields or a Doctorate/PhD or equivalent and experience working for Amazon or any Amazon subsidiary or affiliate

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
