- Design and implement features for our unified platform that delivers photo memory experiences across multiple devices and formats
- Write clean maintainable code following Amazons Code Bar standards while making appropriate trade-offs between maintainability and efficiency
- Collaborate with peers throughout the full software development lifecycle from scoping and design through testing documentation and deployment
- Actively participate in operational support for the team identifying and resolving root causes of issues
- Work independently with regular checkpoints to deliver software components that enhance our platforms capabilities in areas including generative AI and frontend technologies

Your day begins with a quick team stand-up to align on priorities and address any blockers. You might spend the morning debugging a rendering issue affecting animated stories on iOS devices collaborating with UX designers to ensure visual consistency. After lunch youll work on implementing new features for the unified platform perhaps integrating a new AI-powered content generation capability or optimizing performance across devices.

- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 1 years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered multi-threaded embedded or distributed software applications tools systems and services using: C# C Java or Perl experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
