Software Development Engineer, AWS Certificate Services

The AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) team is in need of engineers who want to change the way developers across the world think of TLS/SSL certificates. You will work with AWS customers and internal developers on projects critical to the security of communications and identity on the internet. You will get the opportunity to change the way systems interact with certificates turning a traditionally painful interaction to a painless and automated experience. With your help we will turn certificate expiration and unencrypted connections into a thing of the past.

Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring innovative products and services to market.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
Build distributed storage index and query systems that are scalable fault-tolerant low cost and easy to manage/use.

- 3 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 3 years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 3 years of designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered multi-threaded embedded or distributed software applications tools systems and services using: C# C Java or Perl experience
- 3 years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
