Software Development Engineer, AI & Data Platforms (AiDP)

AI u0026 Data Platforms (AiDP) is ISu0026Ts engine for AI-powered innovation. The team brings together data application development and machine learning including generative AI along with data services and customer success functions to help ISu0026T build solutions more efficiently and streamline the adoption and embedding of generative AI across most important story about any Apple application is data. As a software engineer in AiDP data services team you will work on building database managed services and data streaming platform that power some of Apples most critical business use cases. You will collaborate with exceptional database engineering teams and internal stakeholders in building these solutions.

We are looking for a passionate software engineer with experience in building data streaming or data centric solutions. We expect the candidate to influence platform tools APIs and architecture. 2 years of extensive professional experience with the Go or Java programming language.n3 years of software development experiencenExperience in developing highly optimized SQLs procedures for distributed data in Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent industry experiencen

MS in Computer Science or equivalent experiencenWorks well in dynamic environments collaborating effectively with many other teams across our organizationnStrong programming in Golang as youll be working extensively with Go based systems building both services and client softwarenHands-on experience in designing and development of cloud-based applications that include compute services database services APIs to design RESTful/gRPC services ETL queues and notification with Kubernetes Docker and containerizationnKnowledge in multi-threading concurrency and parallelismnHave written or contributed to a batch or realtime processing systemnAble to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
